Amy Brucksch is a classical guitarist and music educator who performs and teaches throughout the Southeast. She celebrates the rich heritage of the classical guitar in solo concerts and in collaboration with world‐renowned musicians, exploring musical connections with traditions as diverse as Celtic fiddle, Baroque harpsichord and African percussion — sometimes all within the same performance!
Amy currently heads the classical guitar program at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy and teaches privately at Wild Roots Fine Arts Center. In _(year)_ she established GrooveNGuitars, a music education program for at-risk children. She is also the guitarist and Education Coordinator for Pan Harmonia repertory ensemble.
Formerly on the faculty of the University of Toledo and Adrian College, Amy was an Ohio Arts Council Touring Artist. She holds degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Bowling Green State University. She now resides happily in Tryon, NC.
